AI Features
Stockpot uses artificial intelligence to parse kitchen inputs, generate recipes, answer cooking questions, transcribe voice, and provide related features. To provide these features, we may send the prompts, photos, audio, transcripts, recipe information, inventory items, preferences, and other content you submit to AI and infrastructure service providers for processing.
Please do not submit information that you do not want processed by these services. Stockpot is intended for cooking and kitchen assistance and is not a medical, nutrition, allergy, or food-safety professional.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support analytics, understand attribution, and improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of Stockpot may not work correctly if these technologies are disabled.
How We Share Information
Service providers and processors that help us host the service, store data, authenticate users, process payments, provide AI features, send notifications, analyze usage, and deliver customer support.
Legal, safety, and compliance recipients when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud or abuse, or respond to lawful requests.
Business transfer recipients if Stockpot is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
Other parties with your direction or consent.
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used under U.S. state privacy laws.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Stockpot, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve security, and enforce agreements.
You may delete your account from the app or contact us for help. Account deletion removes your account data and kitchen content from active systems, subject to limited backup, security, legal, and payment-record retention needs. Some authentication records may remain with our authentication provider for a limited period before permanent deletion.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password, protect your devices, and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can update or delete many account details and kitchen records directly in Stockpot. You can opt out of marketing emails by using unsubscribe links when available or by contacting us. You can control push notifications through your device settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of your personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing. We will respond to applicable privacy requests as required by law.
Children's Privacy
Stockpot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the last updated date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
